RingMasTeR's Word are customized localization files for BF2/SF.

What are localization files?

Localization files are the container files for all text information in the game.
These files can be edited to say anything you wish in place of the default text.
And in some cases can be modified to show more information than you can see by default.

Also, orange highlight can be toggled off and on to make text stand out better.

These files are not scanned by Punkbuster and will not get you kicked for modified content.
Only you can see these changes as they are completely client side.

If you are somewhat code savy to begin with, you can probably just look at the .utxt file and figure it out, it's not that hard.
Special thanks go to SaladFork for the work on his easy to follow tutorial.

Download bf2+sf all in one

or use the official download links here

*Back up your Localization folder ( C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Localization\English )
by copying it into a different directory, like "my documents" or your "desktop".

If you forget and need to restore your files to the default 1.4x version,
read the original post here

Use Winrar to unzip the file into your Battlefield 2 directory -
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\

Yes to Overwrite all.

Be aware that BF2 reads the entire \English\ directory for .utxt files.
If you put ANYTHING else in there, including a backup of old .utxt files (even inside another folder),
BF2 will crash and give you an error.
Do not leave the readme.txt, gnu.txt or changelog.txt in the \Localization\ or \English\ folder.
