Removing partition!

Postby Geriko » Wed Mar 30, 2011 12:23 am

Ok so installed new SSD as primary boot device, its running windows 7, and i love it.

HOWEVER - My old HDD which is formatted and freshly clean from the crap i had on it still has a 100mb partition that i think contains windows 7? or something to do with windows 7, because when i boot up it asked me to select an operating system and windows 7 is listed twice for me to select!?!?

What the heck does this mean!

Cheers

the old hdd is set to master you need to repin the old one to slave then set the new one to master

also you can do this goto control panel > administrative tools > computer management > disk management from there you can delete the old hdd partition
